Transportation logistics involves the modality of cargo transportation in its best-known forms:

The selection of the means of transport will depend on the three variables involved in the transfer of the goods:

* The existing transport offer
* The final destination of the merchandise.
The choice of the type of transport to be used will depend on the distance between the origin and destination:
Short distances, it will be the truck, for long distances the train will correspond, if it is beyond the borders and is far from the sea, the choice will have to be the ship, if the merchandise to be transported is perishable, the choice of transportation will be the plane.
In the selection of means of transport to use, cost effectiveness and safety are also involved, which are objectives that are related to the attention that must be provided to the client, which does not always depend on the speed at which the service is performed.
But fundamentally with the quality that is done and that it receives what has been promised.
Regarding transport costs, it is unanimous to think that the competitiveness of prices on merchandise depends on your savings, which on the one hand is completely true; However, it must also be weighed that cheap prices in transport would be useless if the merchandise is going to be delivered, and someone knows when and under what conditions. In this sense, the most convenient transport rate is the one that the client values it in relation to his satisfied need.
In any case, in international trade, time is key as well as the influence it has on the sale price, so the delivery of the merchandise must always be done respecting the delivery time, the form and the agreed place.
